February 26th, 2011 ~ 10:00p.m.

So I had a really great birthday. 23 or 24 balloons, cupcake bandaids, a cupcake hat later. My family does so much for me and I love them to death. I am so glad that my best friend and I are talking again. I missed her so much, and things finally seem back to normal. So for my birthday I went to breakfast at the F.B. with my stepmom and my dad showed up with some pretty purple balloons, and then I went to school. First period: my friend had left 2 balloons and a chocolate bar on my desk. 2nd period: My friend Hannah brought me a bag of "Sweet Sixteen" doughnuts, and changed the "sixteen to fifteen" and a pack of mint chocolate chip gum. Third Period: nothing special. Fourth Period: this kid Chris sang hapy birthday to me Fifth period: my math teacher was very sweet and asked me what i was doing for dinner, etc. and Sixth period: my APWH teacher sang the birthday song : "Thhhhhhissss is your birthday song...It isn't very long, whewwwwww! Finally after school, my m & p gave me a beautiful arrangement of balloons, and my aunt and uncle sent some to my house too. Then RG was at my house when I got home, and she took me to get a custom cupcake and I got the Banana Caramel Rum cupcake with cream cheese filling, blackberry taro frosting, and a pink birthday candle on top. RG's momm lit the candle and they sang Happy Birthday to me. Then I went to dinner at Chopstix Bistro with Kimberly, and then dinner with my dad and stepmom. The place we went to made me a special cake, and then I came home and shared a piece with my little brother, and we blew out the candles together. I had a great birthday that I will always remember(: I don't have very many friends. I choose this path for myself though. I know that I used to lie constantly, but that was so I could "fit in", I don't have to "fit in" with my best friend and I love it!  Friday was a very hard day for me. I didn't want to have to face my previous peers from middle school that practically ruined my life. Therefore, I did everything in my power to not go to school, well another school to see a play, and it caused a nuclear war between me and my divorced parents. Needless to say, my mom dropped me off at my dad's office, and I have been with my dad ever since. Why do I feel so weird at his house? Why do I feel so comfortable in a unorganized and messy environment with my mom and stepdad; and yet so weirded out at a clean and structured environment at my dad and stepmoms house?

Why am I so happy, yet at the same time so unhappy? I typically get whatever I want, no that is not something to be proud of....but just one of the many things that happens in life. Do people ever really get over things that at one point had such a major impact on them? For example, a parents divorce, a loss of a best friend, or a feeling of being unloved? I have just been thinking a lot lately and really do need to find ways to make myself truly happy. Because manipulating people and lying does nothing but cause problems. I never used to believe my mom when she said "when you lie, it will always come back to haunt you", because when I was a child and used to lie, it never seemed to come back and haunt me.

Earlier this week, I went to the library afterschool on Valentines Day so Monday and my Mommy found this cookbook that she thought I might like. Not only did I like the cookbook, but I adored its name, "The Weekend Baker". That is like my life in a nutshell. I bake food that I want to on the weekend, and during the school week I teach a "Cupcakery Class" and will make so flavored muffins like cranberry orange, blueberry, banana nut, or cinnamon. Then I was reading a Parents Magazine and found a title of a book, "Cinderella Ate My Child", if I were to write a story based about my life, I would title it, "Cinderella Ate My Reality". It is so true though because when I watch Bree from Desperate Housewives, Kyle from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, or random Lifetime movies, I try my very hardest to make my life perfect; maybe one day I will realize my life is perfect just the way it is(:

Hello All,
So last night was the Super Bowl 45, and the Green Bay Packers won! I was personally rooting for the Steelers, but I honestly don't care that much about pro-football, I prefer college football! At my Dad's house we had a Superbowl Party,, well it was only us but we cooked dinner, and I love to cook. I made a Strawberry and Mascarpone cupcake with lemon , and another batch of cupcakes with Strawberry and Cream Cheese cupcake with lime! They were both delicious!!!!! I also made these good mac and cheese muffins with truffle oil. I personally do not like the taste of truffle oil, but they weren't terrible though and the members of my family liked them. It is raining right now, and I love the sound of rain. Well my brother is having a melt down over his wii so I am going to go and try to eliminate the disaster waiting to happen.

Sorry I Haven't Been On For Awhile ~ February 3rd, 2011 9:48p.m.

Wow, This is the official latest that I have been up this week, and I haven't even been sick *fingers crossed*. I haven't been on since DECEMBER...So Happy 2011!!!! Let's hope that this year is one to remember. But then again, don't peole say that about every new year. This year is the start of a new decade, how exciting!! I have had a lot of fun recently cooking, well to be honest baking. Last Sunday, I made these adorable, cheap, and simple... Drum-Roll please...COOKIE MONSTER CUPPYCAKES!!!! They were so cute, and I plan on uploading some pictures later. And last weekend, I volunteered at a local homeless shelter downtown, and made a golden vanilla cake with yellow sprinkles and Betty Crocker fruit decor; and some Betty Crocker Hershey Brownies with some M&Ms. The people at the shelter were literally fighting over them, so I plan to bake some special desserts and take them for dinner every other Sunday. It's the simple things in life that seem to make people, even those who are less fortunate than us happy. I can honestly see myself becoming a baker and restaurant chef when I grow up. Well, I am going to go and get some shut eye, I will post my recent baking creation pictures tomorrow, sometime (:
